Listening
I love Justin Timberlake's new song Not a Bad Thing. Lately, I haven't really been a fan of Justin's new solo material, but this song is different. I love it everytime it comes on in the car. Right now I have it playing on repeat on my laptop. I usually just listen to songs on repeat until I can't stand them anymore. It's a problem.
Loving
Today it got up into the 60s! It felt like a tropical heat wave! Just like everyone, I am so over this winter. It was out of control. A snow day every once in awhile is one thing...but even those get old!
Thinking
Last night at midnight I signed up for my first marathon! I am nervous, but excited! Yes, I did wake up at midnight to be one of the first 1,000 people to register and get the big discount. I am very cheap.
Wanting
I am getting observed tomorrow. Actually, I got observed today, too! Since I am new to the district, I get observed four times this school year. With all the snow days, my third observation got delayed. Now, it is already time for my fourth one! I just get so nervous when I know someone is watching me!
Needing
I ran a half marathon in a TORRENTIAL downpour. It was intense to say the least. My shoes and clothes were soaked. I am a little bummed about it, but I do feel pretty hardcore for finishing. I bought a groupon for a massage to reward my poor little body!
Hours and Last Day
Contract hours are from 8:15 - 3:15. I like to come in around 7:20-7:30. I really like having the top floor to myself for a bit. I stay to tutor after school on Mondays and Thursdays. Then on Wednesdays and Fridays I help coach middle school track. Tuesdays are after school meetings. And...there goes the week!
I can't wait to see what everyone else has been up to!

ReplyDeleteI'm sure your observation went well. I know it is stressful. We just changed our evaluation system in Washington State. I hadn't been formally observed in years. This year I had two. I'm glad to say I am done with that for this year.
ReplyDeleteYou are even busier than I am!! I like having the school (almost) to myself so I agree with you about that...but I might be a litttttle scared about being alone on the top floor. Especially in your school!

Hi Amy! I enjoyed reading your April Currently. That was an interesting video, but now I need to know how it ends! LOL! I hope your observation went well. Those are so stressful! It is a perfect time for that massage now that's over. :) I hope you continue to enjoy the warm weather. It's been in the low 80s here the last few days, which is weird after last week's snow.
