Not only is it January...but it is officially 2014! Time for a new year and a fresh start! I hope everyone had a wonderful break and that your year is off to a great start! A new month means time to link up with Farley's Currently!
Listening
My boyfriend is currently watching some soccer game. Since I am busy working on this wonderful post, I am letting him watch without even complaining! Aren't I a nice girlfriend?
Loving
I am very grateful for all the wonderful time I got to spend with family and friends over break. I went back to Ohio to stay with my family for the week. I caught up with old friends and spent some quality time with my family. I only wish it didn't go so fast!
Thinking
Tomorrow I head back to school. I am trying to get my head back into school mode, which is easier said than done. I am due for my second observation any day now, so I need to be on top of my game. It will be unannounced, so I would rather just get it over with!
Wanting
It is always hard to head back to work. No matter how much I love teaching, I also really love sleeping in and lounging around.
Needing
Taking down Christmas decorations is always so sad. They are all so pretty! I am not sure I am ready to take down the Gingerbread house quite yet. We spent so much time building that. A few more days won't hurt right?
Tradition
I know this sounds silly, and yes, we have plenty more family traditions, but every Christmas Eve, my family watches The Muppet's Christmas Carol. We have all the songs memorized. Over the years, we had to transition from VHS to DVD! In case you haven't had the privilege of seeing this masterpiece, I will leave you with my favorite scene!
Happy New Year everyone!
So glad I stopped by! I know what you mean about time going by so fast. I'm sad that it's over. I also need to take down my decorations. :( Happy New Year!

The Teaching Twosome
We took down our decorations today too. Leave up the gingerbread house...it counts as a winter decoration!

Everyone deServes to Learn
Putting the decorations UP is so much more fun than taking them DOWN!!! Happy 2014! At least it will only be a 2 day week!

The Math Maniac
Ick! You're already going back? When did you get out? We're getting two full weeks for the first time in a few years, and I am soaking in every minute of it. I would keep the gingerbread house up a little longer. Enjoy your last evening and relax!
