August Currently!

Summer is flying by! It is already August, which means it is time to link up with Farley for her Currently!

Listening

There is a crazy thunderstorm going on right now! It is a torrential downpour with lots of lightning and thunder. I am glad to be safe inside now. When it started, I was outside shopping. All of my clothes are soaked!

Loving

While I was out shopping, I found an amazing deal on running shoes. I was due for some new ones, but I just didn't want to spend the money. I found these beauties for just $10! I am really excited because I just joined a running club and am training for my first 10 miler. Now I will look good doing it!

Thinking

I am definitely enjoying summer, but I am also getting excited about my new job. Ideas are already starting to brew. I think it is going to be a really great year.

Wanting

Even though I am excited for the school year, I also want to enjoy my last month of summer. (Sorry to all of you who have already started back! I promise I'm not rubbing it in!) Since I just moved to a new state, I am trying to squeeze in as many new experiences as possible while I have time off.

Needing

Next week I finally get to go into my new school and see my new classroom! I am really excited to see what I am working with and to get started on decorating/organizing. It will be a blank canvas!

B2S Must Haves

1. I cannot control myself around post-its. I love post-its of all colors, shapes, and sizes. I use them for my personal life, planning, and teaching. My coworkers always tell me I should buy stock in the company.
2. I love anchor charts! I make them for all sorts of lessons and love getting kids involved in the process. In order to make these charts, I need lots and lots of chart paper!
3. I cannot handle disorganization. It stresses me out! For that reason, I was on the hunt for the perfect teacher planner. I finally decided on this beautiful planner from A Modern Teacher. I can't wait to use it!
