Some of you may remember that I had a series of interviews a few months ago. It was quite the whirlwind - interviewing during one of the busiest times of the year! After going back and forth between two jobs, I finally decided to accept an intervention job in New Jersey. They call it Basic Skills here. I will be working with grades 3-4. I am really excited, but also nervous. I love the idea of a fresh start, but that also means having to reestablish myself all over again! I am up for the challenge though!
New Jersey isn't the farthest thing from Ohio, but there are still a few adjustments. Luckily I have the summer to figure things out. That also means more time for the fun things, such as getting a new driver's license, bank account, license plates, doctor, etc. Really though, there are a lot of exciting things to do around here, and I am looking forward to experiencing them all!
We already went to a Phillies game and had a delicious cheesesteak!
Thank you for all of your kind words and support during the interviewing process. You really kept my spirits and confidence up! I am looking forward to sharing the next part of my journey with all of you! If anyone has any suggestions for fun in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area, I would love to hear them!
Good luck with your new job! How exciting :)
